Miriam McGillycuddy, Principal of Miriam McGillycuddy Solicitors, qualified in 1990 as a solicitor. She is a member of the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland. Previously Miriam has worked at Limerick Law Centre at Lock Quay, Limerick and at Pierse & McCarthy Solicitors, 9 Ashe Street, Tralee. Miriam has a degree in English and History and a masters from Trinity College Dublin. She also had a Diploma in Legal Studies prior to completing the solicitor’s qualification with the Law Society of Ireland. She worked as a law clerk in Dublin before qualifying as a solicitor.

 

Miriam is very active in the local community. She was a member of Tralee Town Council from 1994-2009 and was Chairperson of Tralee UDC from 2000-2001 and Mayor of Tralee from 2007-2008. She is a Lecturer at Tralee IT and a Radio Kerry slot.

Miriam’s range of experience brings a particular insight, when analyzing legal problems and finding solutions. Miriam has served on many local voluntary groups. In addition she has provided education and training on many legal topics to community and other groups.
